About
Old isn't the same as obsolete.

I'm Jared. I've been a tech junkie my whole life and spent a good part of my career in the cell phone industry. Since 2021 I've bought more than 5,000+ phones, tablets, watches, consoles and drones across the Salt Lake Valley, and I've met almost every seller in person.
No shipping label. No kiosk in a grocery store lowballing you, take it or leave it. No 45-day wait to find out what you're actually getting. You tell me what you have, I send back a real number the same day, and if it works we meet and I pay you on the spot.
It started with a broken phone on a cruise
A few years ago I broke my phone on a cruise and had to replace it in another country. That turned out to be far harder, and far more expensive, than I expected. A model that's unremarkable in Utah can be scarce and genuinely sought after somewhere else.
That reframed the whole thing for me. The phone in your sock drawer isn't junk. It's two generations behind here and completely current somewhere else. Left in the drawer it just ages quietly until it really is e-waste. Sold, it's somebody's daily phone for another three or four years first.
So that's the business. I buy the device you've stopped using and put it back into service while it still has years left in it. A drawer is not a recycling programme, and old is not the same as obsolete.
What I actually buy
iPhone 8 and newer, Galaxy S8 and newer, every Z Fold and Z Flip, iPads, Apple Watches, Pixels, gaming consoles and DJI drones. Cracked screens are fine. Carrier-locked is fine. Financed with a balance is fine, as long as it isn't reported lost or stolen. The one thing I can't buy is an iCloud-locked device — nobody can activate those.
That list is wider than most buyers' because of where these devices end up. A carrier-locked phone that's awkward to resell in the US is straightforward in a market that uses that network. It's the same reason a cracked screen is a repair cost to me rather than a reason to say no.
How I price
Real-time market data and a consistent grading scale, not a mood. Model and storage set the baseline, carrier status moves it up or down, and cosmetic condition trims it. I'll tell you which of those three is costing you money, because a seller who understands the number is a seller who comes back.
How we meet
Once you've accepted an offer I'll reach out and we'll sort out a time and place that works for you — somewhere public, in daylight, usually close to home or work. I cover Salt Lake City, Draper, Sandy, South Jordan, West Jordan, West Valley City, Lehi and Daybreak. I verify the IMEI and condition in front of you, which takes about five minutes, and then you're paid — cash, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle, whichever you prefer.
