Agreement to terms
By accessing or using the Cell Me Your Phone website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services description
Cell Me Your Phone provides a platform for individuals to sell their used electronic devices including phones, tablets, smartwatches, game consoles, and drones. We provide quotes and arrange local meetups in the Salt Lake Valley area where we inspect devices and pay you on the spot.
Quote process
- Quotes are based on the information you provide about your device.
- Quotes are preliminary and subject to in-person inspection.
- Final payment amount may be adjusted based on physical inspection.
- We reserve the right to decline devices that do not match the description.
Device requirements
To sell your device to us, you must:
- Be the legal owner of the device.
- Ensure the device is not stolen or subject to any liens.
- Disable any activation locks (Find My iPhone, Google account, etc.).
- Remove all personal data (we will assist with a factory reset if needed).
- Provide accurate information about the device's condition.
Meeting and payment
- We meet customers in public locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
- Payment is issued at the time of meetup after device inspection (cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle).
- You are responsible for any taxes on the sale.
- You are not obligated to sell if you are not satisfied with the final offer.
Inspection and adjustment
When we meet, we will inspect your device to verify its condition matches your description. If discrepancies are found, we will offer a revised price. You may accept the revised offer or decline to sell — there is no obligation.
Activation locks
Devices with active Find My iPhone, Google Account Lock, or other activation locks cannot be purchased. You must disable these features before we can complete the transaction. We can assist you with this process during our meetup if needed.
Prohibited items
We do not accept:
- Stolen devices.
- Devices reported as lost.
- Devices with active activation locks that cannot be removed.
- Counterfeit devices.
Limitation of liability
Cell Me Your Phone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your device.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cell Me Your Phone from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your use of our services.
