Selling a drone — what to expect.
Yes — bring everything you have. Fly-more bundles with extra batteries, ND filters, and prop cases add real value. We can quote them as a bundle.
Depends on the damage. If the gimbal is intact and motors spin, we'll usually make an offer at a reduced price. If it's parts-only, we'll quote it for the salvage value. Mention any damage in the form so the offer reflects it.
Helpful but not required — we can walk you through it at the meetup. The drone needs to be serialized and not reported lost or stolen.
No. The three things we need to verify a drone are the aircraft itself, its controller, and at least one battery that holds a charge — without those we can't confirm it powers up and flies. The original case, spare batteries, ND filters and a fly-more bundle all add to the offer.
Cash or Venmo, paid in full on the spot at the meetup — your choice. No waiting on a check, no mail-in inspection, and no holding your payment until a device 'clears.'
We meet locally by appointment at a safe, public place — we'll schedule a time that works, often same day. No shipping your drone off and waiting days for an offer that gets revised down.
